Senior Youth Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Targeted Youth Services team in Essex. As a Senior Youth Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support and guidance to young people, helping them overcome barriers to education, training, and employment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement delivery plans that provide information, advice, and guidance to support young people's needs, views, and aspirations.
- Lead a team of youth support specialists to achieve strategic objectives and deliver against contractual targets.
- Collaborate with senior school-based staff, social care, SEND, and other stakeholders to influence the type of interventions delivered to provide wider support to young people.
- Advocate with parents/carers and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners to ensure the delivery of joint innovative strategies.
- Educated to degree level and/or possess a relevant professional qualification, such as IAG L6 or equivalent.
- Proven experience of managing staff and implementing external funded contracts.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive a highly performing and motivated team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate to staff, partner agencies, and young people in a purposeful and responsive manner.
- Flexible approach with excellent time management skills and the ability to work creatively to respond to staff and young people's needs.
