Salary Compensation: £90,000 - £100,000 + Bonus Scheme

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of PPA Originator, your primary focus will be on Large Developer PPAs and Corporate PPAs. You will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities, structuring agreements, securing internal approvals, and leading commercial negotiations with clients. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to leverage our collective expertise and knowledge, aiding in defining the strategic direction of the business while maximizing long-term value creation within acceptable risk parameters.

You will work closely with Product Development and Marketing teams to ensure that the PPA business is well-supported with appropriate products, communications, and events. By continuously evaluating the existing portfolio, you will create value, enhance returns, and maintain a robust market presence through engagement with key stakeholders in the UK market.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven history of achieving results against challenging targets through effective relationship management. A comprehensive understanding of the GB electricity market, low carbon instruments (such as CfD, ROC, REGO), along with strong numerical and analytical skills to assess trends and evaluate risks, is essential. Direct experience with Corporate PPAs (CPPAs) is highly advantageous.

Exceptional commercial insight is critical, as is the ability to identify growth opportunities, recognize new business prospects, and cultivate relationships using diverse techniques. Confidence in engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is a must.
