About the Role
As a Lead Makeup Artist at Pat McGrath Labs, you'll be at the forefront of beauty artistry, guiding clients through personalized makeup experiences and showcasing the exceptional quality of our products. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week within our Flannels Flagship store, allowing you to contribute your expertise in a dynamic retail environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver expert makeup application services, ranging from everyday looks to special occasion styles, using Pat McGrath Labs cosmetics.
- Provide clients with comprehensive product knowledge and guidance, assisting them in making informed purchases and enhancing their understanding of our brand.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Pat McGrath's signature application techniques and share your expertise with the team through training and mentorship.
- Drive sales performance by achieving individual targets and collaborating with management to develop strategies that exceed goals.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships, providing exceptional service and personalized recommendations based on individual needs and preferences.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and upholding the highest standards of customer experience.
- Stay abreast of current beauty trends and competitor activity, ensuring your knowledge remains up-to-date and relevant.
- Lead in-store events and masterclasses, showcasing your artistry skills and sharing your passion for Pat McGrath Labs with customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that products are replenished and testers are kept in pristine condition.
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years in the beauty industry.
- Exceptional makeup application skills, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and styles that align with Pat McGrath Labs' aesthetic.
- A strong understanding of color theory, skin types, and product formulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients and effectively convey information.
- A passion for beauty and a desire to stay at the forefront of industry trends.
