We are seeking an experienced Pricing and Strategy Analyst to join our team at Future Publishing. As a key member of our strategy and performance team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing pricing models to optimize revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex pricing models in Excel to support dynamic pricing strategies.
- Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to inform pricing decisions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and sales, to implement pricing strategies.
- Conduct financial analysis and economic assessments to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Finance or Economics).
- 2+ years of experience working in a subscription-based business or in a management / financial consulting role with a focus on pricing.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Experience with dynamic pricing models and strategies.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of market dynamics and the organization's broader commercial and strategic goals.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- An acute understanding of subscription dynamics (e.g., customer acquisition and retention, churn analysis, lifetime value calculation).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Perform predictive analysis and modeling to help determine the impact of proposed scenarios.
- Familiarity with the use of AI for pricing models.
- Experience or knowledge of CPQ implementation.
We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £65,000, depending on experience. This is a hybrid role, with three days spent in our office and two days working from home. We also offer a share in our success through our profit pool bonus scheme.
