Job Description

Secure Retail is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Officer to join our team. As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality IT support to our business, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line support to users, resolving technical issues and escalating complex problems to senior technical staff.
  • Perform daily system checks to ensure the availability and integrity of our IT services.
  • Participate in project work, contributing to the development and implementation of new IT systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, ensuring that technical information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage mobile devices and assets, ensuring that they are properly configured and maintained.
  • Oversee the IT helpdesk, providing support and guidance to users.
  • Procure hardware and software, ensuring that our IT systems and services are properly equipped and maintained.
Requirements:
  • Windows XP/10 operating systems
  • Windows server 2012+/2019
  • Windows active directory and group policy
  • Basic networking skills, including switching and routing
  • Helpdesk systems
  • Dell/HP servers
  • Forcepoint email and web filtering solutions
  • Enterprise antivirus systems
  • Mobile Device Management
  • Office 365

  • Linux/Ubuntu
  • Firewall knowledge – Cisco ASA
  • Monitoring systems – PRTG
  • Virtualisation – Hyper-V/VMWare
  • Managed Wi-Fi systems
  • Antivirus systems – Sentinel One

  • Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)
  • Two factor authentication (RSA)
  • PowerShell (scripting)
