Sales and Business Development Role

The Sales and Business Development role at Colony Cowork LTD is a dynamic position that requires a strong understanding of sales processes and a passion for business development. As a Sales and Business Development professional, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our membership base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field incoming membership enquiries, meeting room and event requests via email and phone.
  • Send formal proposals and appropriate follow-ups both via the phone and email to gauge interest and secure the sale.
  • Work alongside the Head of Sales to ensure third-party agents, our website, and other marketing avenues have up to-date listings for all venues.
  • Have expert knowledge of all Colony products, with detailed understanding of immediate and future availability across all venues.
  • Understand the nature of the communities at each venue so you can make relevant introductions or mentions.
  • Process tenant applications in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage client data appropriately in line with GDPR.
  • Discuss and recommend best practices to the Head of Sales and Operations Director.
  • Review and maintain our CRM system to record and track membership leads and opportunities to give visibility to the wider team.
  • Report on desk leads and progress status to the Head of Sales and Head of Marketing.
  • Generate new leads for Colony memberships using a variety of approaches from social media to event attendance.
  • Engage in the larger community of the market by attending events and networking with local event organisers and producers.
  • Execute desk marketing requirements including asset creation and online marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication – ability to confidently present proposals and use language which will prompt fast close of sale.
  • General understanding of a sales process from start to finish.
  • Sales: 1 year (preferred)
