Teaching Fellow in Infrastructure, Civil, Structural, Environmental Engineering or Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Teaching Fellow to join our team in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and advising undergraduate, postgraduate, and CPD students within their subject area, as well as contributing to the design, delivery, and assessment of programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and advise students within own subject area and within a program, managed and supervised by a member of staff.
- Contribute to the development of curricula, CPDs, and modules in Civil Engineering, infrastructure, restoration, and rehabilitation of structures and critical infrastructures.
- Develop and deliver Massive Open Online Courses and similar Technology Enhanced Learning materials, CPDs, and Microcredentials.
- Supervise research and educational activities relevant to the program.
- Travel to Ukraine to identify and assist Ukrainian universities in updating existing or developing new syllabuses.
- Pursue personal research, including developing research ideas and acquiring support.
- Supervise and examine MSc students, promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity.
- Develop and contribute to knowledge transfer, enterprise, business engagement, public engagement, widening participation, and outreach activities.
- Develop new taught modules in structure and infrastructure engineering and contribute to the design of teaching programs.
- PhD in Civil and/or Structure and/or Infrastructure and/or Environmental Engineering and/or Architecture.
- Higher degree relevant to research or teaching area or equivalent qualifications.
- Fluent Ukrainian and English language skills.
