Key Responsibilities- Design and implement database solutions to meet business needs
- Ensure database security and integrity through regular backups and recovery procedures
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data processing
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to provide support for the Oracle relational database environment
- Provide consultation on relational database design, implementation, and technical issues to our systems development team
- Considerable knowledge of Oracle database design, administration, utility, and tools
- Skills in the use of laptop computers and standard Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of database systems management and develop Unix scripts
- High school graduate or equivalent
