Connex Education Solutions is collaborating with an outstanding community school that is seeking dedicated support staff to assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside educators to provide tailored support to students, both in small groups and on an individual basis. Your role will involve clarifying concepts, facilitating engaging activities, and fostering educational growth. Key responsibilities will also include managing behavioral challenges, assisting with exam preparations, and preparing essential classroom resources.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A patient and nurturing demeanor
  • The ability to quickly establish rapport with students
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Confidence in handling classroom administrative responsibilities
  • Experience in managing challenging behavior and supporting students with SEND, including Autism, SEMH, and Communication Needs

Your responsibilities will include:
