Role Overview

The Director of Conference Content at GSMA is responsible for the comprehensive planning and implementation of conference agendas across our events. Your leadership is essential in crafting the narrative for each occasion, attracting distinguished speakers and a diverse audience, while delivering an unparalleled conference experience.

Overseeing a team of content professionals, you will manage the programming for 8 to 10 events each year. Your contributions are vital in producing high-caliber events that fulfill the expectations of attendees, exhibitors, and speakers alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish the strategic vision and positioning for each conference in partnership with key industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough research to pinpoint market trends, emerging topics, and potential conference opportunities.
  • Develop conference themes and agendas through comprehensive research methodologies.
  • Align event content to create a compelling value proposition that complements the marketing strategy.
  • Ensure the effective and high-quality delivery of conferences while managing budgets prudently.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and provide recommendations for event enhancements.
