Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Managing Scientist for our Practice. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver regulatory and technical expertise in Biocide Regulatory Affairs. You will assist in the formulation and execution of regulatory strategies for the approval of both new and existing active substances at the community level, as well as the authorization of biocide products on national, EU, and global scales. You will manage intricate, multi-disciplinary regulatory projects, providing guidance to colleagues and clients regarding current and evolving regulatory processes and legislation. Additionally, you will contribute to the management and development of the Biocides Regulatory Team and explore new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

You will engage in consultancy work within the biocides sector, which includes:

  • Supporting products in a regulatory context
  • Preparing technical reports and regulatory dossiers
  • Overseeing project work programs, including budget management, communication, quality assurance, and timely delivery
  • Representing clients in discussions with regulatory authorities or within industry consortia
  • Developing and executing strategies for EU and global regulatory approvals
  • Offering strategic regulatory advice

You will also contribute to the growth of the biocides business by:

  • Promoting initiatives to attract new business opportunities
  • Assisting in maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients
  • Contributing to business development efforts

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background

  • BSc in a scientific discipline
