Opportunity Overview

We are currently looking for a Managing Scientist to enhance our Practice. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to deliver regulatory and technical insights in the field of Biocide Regulatory Affairs. Your responsibilities will include shaping and executing regulatory strategies for the approval of both new and existing active substances at the community level, as well as managing the authorization of biocide products on national, EU, and global platforms. You will oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary regulatory projects, providing guidance to colleagues and clients regarding current and evolving regulatory frameworks and legislation. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the management and growth of the Biocides Regulatory Team while identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

You will engage in consultancy activities within the biocides sector, which include:

  • Supporting products within a regulatory context
  • Crafting technical reports and regulatory dossiers
  • Overseeing project work plans, including budget management, communication, quality assurance, and timely delivery
  • Representing clients in discussions with regulatory bodies or industry consortia
  • Formulating and executing strategies for EU and global regulatory approvals
  • Offering strategic regulatory counsel

You will also contribute to the growth of the biocides business by:

  • Promoting initiatives to attract new business
  • Assisting in maintaining and strengthening relationships with current clients
  • Participating in business development efforts
