Overview of the Role

We are in search of a Managing Scientist to enhance our Practice. This position involves collaborating with a team to deliver regulatory and technical insights in the field of Biocide Regulatory Affairs. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing regulatory strategies for the approval of both new and existing active substances at a community level, as well as managing the authorization of biocide products on national, EU, and global scales. You will oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary regulatory projects, providing guidance to colleagues and clients regarding current and evolving regulatory frameworks and legislation. Additionally, you will contribute to the leadership and growth of the Biocides Regulatory Team while exploring new business avenues.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include conducting consultancy activities within the biocides sector, which encompasses:

  • Supporting products in a regulatory context
  • Drafting technical reports and regulatory dossiers
  • Overseeing project work programs, including budget management, communication, quality assurance, and timely delivery
  • Representing clients in discussions with regulatory bodies or industry groups
  • Formulating and executing strategies for EU and global regulatory approvals
  • Offering strategic regulatory counsel

You will also contribute to the growth of the biocides sector by:

  • Promoting initiatives to attract new business
  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with current clients
  • Participating in business development efforts
