Job Overview
The Senior Business Partner, People & Culture is a key member of the HR team at Tag, responsible for providing comprehensive consultation and support on all human resource and talent management needs. This role requires a strategic business partner who can enable the senior management team to deliver company strategy by providing expert advice on people issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic business partnerships to the senior management team on all people issues, enabling them to deliver company strategy.
- Establish and sustain credibility with business partners and Human Resources colleagues, with a proven track record in core HR functional areas such as employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, employee development, and TUPE.
- Lead on complex HR cases, advising managers on implementing corrective action interventions, and delivering results in a changing environment.
- Provide HR support to employees based in EMEA and overseas, ensuring that HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively monitor all open positions in assigned areas, partner with Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to identify talent pipeline, and develop solutions for difficult-to-fill positions.
- Partner with Business Leaders to support the implementation of new client accounts, including pre-contract due diligence, participation in workstream planning sessions, and transition of existing client employees.
- Coach managers on communicating annual performance reviews, corrective action programs, and handling challenging conversations.
- Support HR and Regional leadership in the development of the management team for assigned business unit, facilitating career development discussions with managers and key employees.
- Conduct exit interviews, provide feedback/analysis as directed, and assist in the facilitation of targeted training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field, and a minimum of 10 years progressive HR generalist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to influence and lead, with well-developed teambuilding and influencing skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence, and stature to effectively address sensitive HR issues.
- Business acumen/organisational awareness, excellent organisational and analytical skills, and attention to detail with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Ability to prioritise work and requests to deliver high-quality, value-added, and timely advisory services to employees and management, utilising developed mediation/facilitation/conflict resolution skills.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, with excellent listening skills and ability to arbitrate disputes and develop strategies for resolution.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrable experience of advising managers on a wide range of HR issues, with the ability to use own initiative and judgement in resolving complex HR problems or queries.
