About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in perinatal mental health, you will play a crucial role in providing expert assessment and treatment to women, their partners, and their infants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake complex assessments and consultancy to provide expert advice to the perinatal mental health multi-professional team.
  • Provide specialist treatment for complex cases, working closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Plan and prioritize your clinical workload, contributing to policy and service development within the area psychological service.
  • Provide specialist supervision for trainee clinical psychologists and psychological guidance and supervision for multidisciplinary clinical colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of an evidence-based research culture within the wider clinical team.
