Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our specialist Psychology Team working with adults with Learning Disabilities in Bournemouth. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults with learning disabilities who have a range of psychological conditions.
You will work with a range of therapy specialties, including EMDR, CAT, ACT, and CBT, and be involved in exciting initiatives such as developing a new neuropsychology testing pack, capacity assessments, research, and more.
As a Clinical Psychologist, you will also assist with supervision to assistant psychologists and doctoral trainee clinical psychologists, providing excellent clinical supervision and opportunities to develop professional skills.
This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week, and we offer a comprehensive and supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified Clinical Psychologists.
Main Duties- Provide assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults with learning disabilities
- Work with a range of therapy specialties, including EMDR, CAT, ACT, and CBT
- Assist with supervision to assistant psychologists and doctoral trainee clinical psychologists
- Be involved in exciting initiatives such as developing a new neuropsychology testing pack, capacity assessments, research, and more
- Post-graduate doctorate in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC
- Doctoral level knowledge of research design and methodology, including complex multivariate data analysis as practiced within the field of clinical psychology
- Experience of clinical supervision for trainee and assistant clinical psychologists
