Job Summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our established Perinatal Clinical Psychology Service. As a specialist in the field, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care for women, their partners, and their infants.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake complex assessments and provide expert advice to the perinatal mental health multi-professional team.
  • Provide specialist treatment for complex cases.
  • Plan and prioritize your clinical workload, commenting and proposing changes to policy or service development within the area of psychological service.
  • Provide specialist supervision for trainee clinical psychologists and psychological guidance and supervision for multidisciplinary clinical colleagues.
  • Develop and encourage an evidence-based research culture within the wider clinical team.
