We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Engineering Team Manager to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medical Device Service, you will play a crucial role in providing innovative and responsive services to our clinical teams and patients.
Main Responsibilities- Assist the EBME Manager in developing and implementing safe systems to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Line manage a team of Engineers and provide strong leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain robust governance practices to ensure the effective management of medical devices.
- Provide specialist advice to clinical teams, senior managers, and colleagues on the life cycle of medical devices.
- Undertake testing and repair of a wide range of medical equipment.
- Supervise work plans and work of junior staff, and assist in identifying and managing risk associated with medical equipment.
- Act as a mentor and oversee training and CPD for engineers of all grades.
