Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation and Claims Lawyer to join our team at Jet2 Limited. As a key member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for overseeing and addressing injury and illness claims related to Jet2holidays and Jet2.com aviation claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, assess, and make decisions on pre-litigation and post-lit claims across a wide range of business areas.
  • Work closely with the company's brokers, insurers, and their loss adjusters in respect of claims management directly supporting the General Manager – Litigation and Claims Management.
  • Deliver training within the Legal Department and across the business on relevant issues and claims-handling processes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Lawyer with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience dealing with litigation and claims ideally in travel law/personal injury.
  • In-house travel experience would be desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Package Travel Regulations.
  • Full working knowledge of claims handling processes and Civil Procedure Rules.
