Role Overview
The Lead Affiliate Strategist is tasked with enhancing the affiliate channel's growth and performance across the UK for LOOKFANTASTIC. This position will also assist the UK Senior Affiliates Manager in implementing the localized affiliate growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing the UK affiliate strategy in collaboration with the UK Senior Affiliate Manager.
- Develop and sustain strong partner relationships, as well as cross-functional connections within internal teams.
- Work alongside trading teams to bolster overall performance.
- Coordinate exposure to planned promotional activities within the marketing calendar while proactively suggesting additional tactics to meet regional objectives.
- Negotiate and allocate affiliate spending to enhance efficiencies across the channel, including publisher commission optimizations and tenancy agreements.
- Oversee key campaigns and ensure successful delivery across the channel.
- Maintain a solid understanding of the channel budget and assist in achieving KPI targets and customer mix.
- Strategically and creatively support customer acquisition goals and drive growth.
- Monitor and evaluate performance against KPIs and ROI, consistently proposing and implementing optimizations for sustained growth.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Implement the latest industry technologies, trial new partnerships, and identify new opportunities to foster innovation and experimentation.
- Provide support and training to new team members.
- Exhibit key behaviors: teamwork – able to collaborate across functions; initiative – capable of thinking outside the box; organized, proactive, and positive attitude; driven and goal-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in performance marketing, preferably in Affiliate Marketing.
- In-depth understanding of the affiliate landscape, including publishers, advertisers, and affiliate networks.
- Enthusiastic about testing new innovations and technologies.
- Highly analytical and commercially focused.
- Ability to prioritize, structure work, and manage time effectively.
- Accountable for projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable and confident under pressure, capable of delivering results in challenging situations.
- Proficient in working with targets and data.
- Adept at forming strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong negotiation skills to ensure cost efficiency across the channel.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting platforms.
