Job Title: Non-Contentious Construction Associate / Senior Associate

Location: Cardiff

Annual salary: £60,000 to £80,000 DOE

Our client, a leading Construction team in Cardiff, is seeking a highly skilled Non-Contentious Construction Associate or Senior Associate to join their team.

The firm provides pragmatic and commercially-focused services for clients across the construction industry and supply chain.

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile transactional projects within both the Private and Public Sector.

You should be very familiar with JCT and NEC contracts from a construction and property development perspective.

Experience in PPP or PFI transactions would be particularly valued, and exposure to FIDIC or ICHEME forms would be beneficial.

We are looking for someone with high-calibre construction experience acquired at a leading national, regional, or City law firm.

In-house legal experience at major contractors, consultants, or public bodies will also be highly valued.

You should be confident, personable, and possess strong technical competence and intellectual ability.

As part of their large national construction team, this role can be based in Cardiff with hybrid working, typically with 3 days flexible office attendance, according to business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pragmatic and commercially-focused services for clients across the construction industry and supply chain.
  • Work on challenging, high-profile transactional projects within both the Private and Public Sector.
