Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Senior Associate to join our team at Blake Morgan LLP. As a key member of our construction team, you will advise on non-contentious matters and have the opportunity to develop a wide skill set.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, with experience in JCT and NEC contracts. Familiarity with PPP or PFI transactions and FIDIC or ICHEME forms is highly valued. You will be part of a large construction team working across our offices, with the option to work from our Cardiff or Southampton office.

We are looking for a candidate with high calibre construction experience, acquired at a leading national, regional or City law firm. In-house legal experience at major contractor, consultant or public bodies is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on non-contentious construction matters
  • Develop a wide skill set, including contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Work on challenging, high-profile construction projects
  • Collaborate with a large construction team

Requirements:

  • 4-7 PQE
  • Confident and personable
  • Strong technical competence and intellectual ability
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A team player with leadership potential
