Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Senior Associate to join our team at Blake Morgan LLP. As a key member of our construction team, you will advise on non-contentious matters and have the opportunity to develop a wide skill set.

The ideal candidate will have high calibre construction experience acquired at a leading national, regional or City law firm. In-house legal experience at major contractor, consultant or public bodies will also be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on non-contentious construction matters
  • Develop a wide skill set through working on both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Work on challenging, high-profile construction projects
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business wins

Requirements

  • 4-7 PQE
  • Confident and personable
  • Very familiar with JCT and NEC contracts
  • Wider procurement experience, such as PFI / PPP
  • Strong technical competence and intellectual ability
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A team player with leadership potential
