About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and Support the Youth Advisory Group:

  • Oversee and assist the Youth Advisory Group in their initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with young individuals, serving as their primary contact.
  • Organize the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for new members.
  • Gather and analyze program data for reporting and evaluation.
  • Manage administrative duties and data collection efficiently.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of young participants during all activities.

Support Youth Voice Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with management and other teams to promote youth involvement and provide necessary support.
  • Facilitate external opportunities for young people, preparing them for various engagements.

Assist the Education Development Team:

Contribute to project management, event coordination, and share effective practices within the team.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience in coordinating youth engagement and youth-led initiatives.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and welfare standards for young individuals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in budget oversight and progress tracking.
  • Exceptional skills in building relationships with young people.

Desirable:

  • Certification in safeguarding.
  • Familiarity with careers education policies.
