Transforming Lives through Youth Participation

Groundwork London is seeking a dedicated Youth Participation Coordinator to champion the voices of young people in our mental wellbeing support service, The Nest. This critical role will play a key part in developing and implementing innovative programmes, engaging activities, and impactful initiatives that foster active participation and meaningful engagement among young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to integrate the voices of young people into Groundwork's Youth Mental Health programmes
  • Design and deliver engaging activities and initiatives that promote active participation and meaningful engagement among young people
  • Build relationships with young people, understanding their needs and concerns, and advocating for their voices to be heard
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement programmes that address the mental health needs of young people
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people in a mental health setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of how young people access social media platforms
  • Ability to build strong relationships with young people and advocate for their voices to be heard
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
