Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our dispensary and clinical services, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to gain hospital experience, working in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the dispensary, providing coordinator support to the dispensary team, and supporting the training and induction of new members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the dispensing and checking of medications
  • Support the training and induction of new members of the team
  • Monitor workload and track stock levels
  • Provide excellent customer service skills
  • Support ward-based tasks, including assessing patients' own drugs and medicines reconciliation
