About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate to join our Building Consultancy team in Central London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and winning opportunities for investor/Landlord refurbishment projects, providing strategic dilapidations advice, and preparing and negotiating associated claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth:
    • Support business development activities to grow the west end project offering and strengthen relationships with key clients.
    • Create a strong internal and external profile for the Central London Refurbishment team to support growth and expansion of the right work.
  • Financial:
    • Support in delivering the business plan for the team, managing expectations/forecasts/pipeline, and taking mitigating actions where necessary.
    • Develop own pipeline from new and existing clients.
    • Actively contribute to meeting or exceeding national PDS team target for 2023, including a personal contribution of £250,000+ through self-delivery of Building Consultancy work.
  • Client:
    • Support in undertaking the role of BC Client Relationship Manager for RLAM in the London region, focusing on building/strengthening relationships, growing profitable business opportunities across all P+DS service lines, sectors, and offices.
    • Wider business generation and cross-selling - Make every effort to identify and secure new/target business opportunities for all service lines, sectors, and offices within P&DS and through cross-selling to the wider business.
  • People:
    • As the team grows and junior colleagues join, undertake line manager responsibilities as required, ensuring they are supported to develop their own skills/knowledge and progress their career.
    • Collaborate with regional BC, PM, CM, and NZC leads/teams to share opportunities and resource to deliver the best result for our clients as part of a national team.
  • General BAU Objectives:
    • Ensure that all instructions and client-facing activities are dealt with proactively and professionally to exceed client expectations.
    • Continually develop understanding of JLL, including its key initiatives and the services that it offers.
    • Make every effort to develop internal and external networks.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a national team.
