Job Description

Job Title: Strategic Account Director, Planning

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our commercial services team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our most strategic selling partner accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management: Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and improve customer experience for our top-selling partner accounts.
  2. Category Analytics: Conduct in-depth analysis of category performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  3. Program Management: Manage the adoption and implementation of Amazon programs and services across our partner accounts.
  4. Consulting: Provide strategic guidance to our top partners on their Amazon strategy, including program adoption and optimization.
  5. Business Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue and profitability growth.
  6. Industry Analysis: Analyze industry trends and Amazon internal data to identify opportunities and challenges across multiple categories.
  7. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  8. Subject Matter Expertise: Develop expertise on Amazon Seller Central and its tools, including Sponsored Advertising, Brand Builder, and Promotions.
  9. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, business development, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Equivalent or 3+ years of sales or marketing experience in e-commerce, retail technology, or SaaS.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level, and experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing, or management consulting roles.
