Senior Scientist Opportunity at Bicycle Therapeutics

Bicycle Therapeutics is a pioneering pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing innovative medicines for underserved diseases. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join our Structural Biology Team, driving impactful research and contributing to the development of our unique Bicycle peptides.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employ various structural biology methods to gain insights into target biology and map protein-ligand interactions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional project teams to generate high-quality structural data, driving project success and scientific publications.
  • Deliver, interpret, and validate structural data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Present data and conclusions to project teams, both orally and in written form.
  • Integrate structural biology data into the electronic lab book (Dotmatics).
Requirements:
  • Education in structural biology or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Ability to design and execute wet lab experiments safely and independently.
  • Experience in biochemical and biophysical characterization of proteins, including construct design and sample quality evaluation.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology/drug discovery setting.
  • Proficiency in software/computational methods for structure-based drug design.
  • Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, both locally and remotely.
  • Diligence in documenting work and understanding of data integrity importance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
