Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for young people in our care.
Key Duties:- Complete daily domestic duties to maintain a homely environment
- Plan and participate in activities to encourage individual interests and attitudes
- Assess and contribute to care and risk plans to promote the welfare of each young person
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with young people
- Manage behaviour positively and assertively in line with care and risk management plans
- Consult with young people to promote healthy lifestyles
- Motivate and assist young people in developing positive networks with adults and peer groups
- Participate in the development and review of packages of care through team meetings and supervisions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Experience of supporting vulnerable young people
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Computer experience to an intermediate level
- Ability to complete daily records to meet statutory and policy requirements
- Empathetic nature and good oral and written communication skills
