About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide health and safety guidance and support.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
