About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on safety performance and trends.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, with a strong understanding of UK legislation and regulations.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
