Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authenticate and update vendor details, including bank verification and adherence to company policies.
  • Validate purchase invoices and credit notes, applying problem-solving skills to disputed items.
  • Ensure accuracy of data entry, processing transaction details, item lines, and tax correctly.
  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day queries promptly and accurately.
  • Support the administration of weekly and critical payment runs, including remittances.
  • Perform regular vendor reconciliations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist with statutory reporting requirements, ensuring documentation is maintained and retained in line with company guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with regular deadlines and new vendors.
  • Experience of operating across multiple legal entities with multi-currency accounts.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Great problem-solving and organizational skills with fantastic attention to detail.
  • First-rate time management and prioritization skills.
  • Customer-focused, accepting constructive feedback, and embracing change.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Advantageous to have experience with SAGE 300.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
