Job Summary
Beam Suntory is establishing its commercial business in the UK, and we are seeking a National Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for growing our brand across the Wholesale channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage account relationships with key customers in the Wholesale channel, including Costco, Bestway, Dhamecha, and regional Cash & Carry customers.
- Develop and execute business plans to drive commercial results and process improvement within the Wholesale channel.
- Collaborate with Commercial Marketing to bring brand plans to life in the market.
- Work closely with other functions, such as Finance and Operations, to ensure delivery against agreed KPIs and targets.
- Build positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with customers.
- Prepare and present to customers, aligning on implementation.
- Manage promotional plans and launch new products with customer bases.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of sales/commercial experience in the Off Trade channel.
- Awareness and understanding of the complexities of RTM in the Wholesale channel and how to drive commercial performance through direct & indirect customers.
- Experience working in commercial within FMCG with demonstrable previous involvement of working with Wholesale customers.
Key Skills and Behaviours
- A strong ability to forecast accurately and an attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate analytical skills and communicate category insights to develop compelling, mutually beneficial growth plans.
- Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities.
- Well-developed written & verbal communication, presentation skills.
- Highly developed negotiation and account management skills.
