The Senior Environmental Consultant will oversee a dedicated team of Environmental Specialists, guiding and enhancing their capabilities as they evaluate natural habitats and wildlife. This role involves conducting assessments to gauge the effects of development projects on ecosystems and protected species, as well as devising strategies to mitigate any adverse impacts. The consultant will engage in a diverse range of projects, spanning from residential developments to renewable energy initiatives.
Key Qualifications for the Senior Environmental Consultant:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Membership with CIEEM, FISC level 3 or higher.
- Possession of a protected species license, particularly for Bats or GCN, is advantageous.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of Environmental Specialists, along with managing multiple projects.
- A valid UK driving license.
