**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Reporting Specialist to join our team at Whitbread, a leading hospitality company. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality environmental communications and working closely with stakeholders across the business to gather and measure sustainability data.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the development and implementation of our environmental reporting program, ensuring compliance with relevant ESG indices and benchmarking standards.
  • Manage the capture and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform our sustainability programs and respond to environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the submission of our Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) report.
  • Develop and maintain our external communications channels, including our corporate and brand-facing websites, to showcase our sustainability efforts.
  • Support the external communication of our sustainability initiatives to guests, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead the internal communications program for our sustainability efforts.
  • Support the communication and reporting of our sustainability initiatives in Germany.

**Requirements**

  • Strong knowledge and passion for sustainability, particularly environmental reporting.
  • Experience with sustainability reporting and indices.
  • Understanding of sustainability and environmental regulation and legislation.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
  • Ability to lead project teams and work independently to deliver high-quality projects on time and to budget.
  • Experience with environmental reporting, data capture, and KPI analysis.
  • Developing excellent working relationships with multiple teams, peers, and senior managers across a large organization.
