Job Title: Cyber Security AnalystAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Information Security and Governance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security, confidentiality, and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Information Security and Governance in delivering Information Security and Governance activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Assist in the delivery of projects to achieve CareCERT, Cyber Essentials, and DSPT accreditation for the Trust, implementing processes to maintain ongoing maintenance of this status.
  • Provide support in the day-to-day management of information security and governance service provision to all users, ensuring the Trust's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Interpret complex legislation and regulations related to information governance and information security, developing and implementing suitable and relevant information security policies and procedures across the Trust.
  • Assist in ensuring all information systems and technical architectures are assessed against Information Security best practice, ensuring the Trust and external bodies that information held by the Trust is secure.
Requirements
  • Masters level degree or equivalent level of experience.
  • Hold a security recognised qualification (e.g. CISSP, CIPR).
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in ICT/Information Security Role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective and credible relationships with business leaders and supplier management.
