Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Information Security and Governance activities, ensuring the security, confidentiality, and integrity of our systems and data.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Cyber Security and a proven track record of delivering projects to achieve accreditation for CareCERT, Cyber Essentials, and the Digital Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT). You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business leaders and supplier management.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support in the day-to-day management of our information security and governance service provision, ensuring our compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Data Protection Act 1998, Freedom of Information Act, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Main Duties of the Job- Ensure the delivery of projects to achieve CareCERT, Cyber Essentials, and DSPT accreditation for the Trust.
- Provide support in the day-to-day management of information security and governance service provision to all users.
- Interpret complex legislation and regulations related to information governance and information security.
- Develop, implement, and enforce suitable and relevant information security policies and procedures across the Trust.
- Assist in ensuring all information systems and underlying technical architectures and changes to the technical environment are assessed against Information Security best practice.

Person SpecificationQualifications- Masters level degree or equivalent level of experience.
- Hold a security recognised qualification (e.g. CISSP, CIPR).
- Knowledge of relevant information security and privacy related legislation and regulation.
- Working knowledge of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
- Knowledge of IT systems implementation.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in ICT/Information Security Role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to develop and maintain effective and credible relationships with business leaders and supplier management.
- Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office applications.
