Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security and Governance team at South Central Ambulance Service NHS. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Information Security and Governance activities, ensuring the security, confidentiality, and integrity of our systems and data.

Key responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Information Security and Governance in the delivery of projects to achieve CareCERT, Cyber Essentials, and DSPT accreditation for the Trust, as well as implementing processes to assure ongoing maintenance of this status.

You will also be responsible for providing support in the day-to-day management of information security and governance service provision to all users, ensuring the Trust's compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Additionally, you will assist in the ISG continuous improvement work stream within the Digital Directorate, interpreting complex legislation and regulations related to information governance and information security.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in Cyber Security and a proven track record of delivering projects to achieve accreditation.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Support the Head of Information Security and Governance in the delivery of projects to achieve CareCERT, Cyber Essentials, and DSPT accreditation for the Trust.
  • Implement processes to assure ongoing maintenance of this status.
  • Provide support in the day-to-day management of information security and governance service provision to all users.
  • Ensure the Trust's compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Assist in the ISG continuous improvement work stream within the Digital Directorate.
