About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Zachary Daniels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop bi-annual business plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Deliver product presentations, business proposals, and ad plans to customers on time, ensuring timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved
  • Work closely with the support team to develop forecasts and manage customer-specific budgets, updating Salesforce as necessary
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers, providing proactive support to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer service, providing feedback and coaching to the account management team
  • Develop innovative sales and marketing-led account plans to maximize business performance within each account
  • Coordinate trade marketing and marketing activity within accounts to ensure delivery of planned volume, distribution, and profit targets
  • Maximize account profitability through strategic business planning, working closely with accounts to gain joint agreement on objectives for sales growth
  • Negotiate at senior level to ensure the business maximizes the advantage of long-term supply agreements and optimizes all elements of the marketing mix
  • Accurate forecasting and working closely with the planning team to ensure stock is delivered to accounts as required
  • Flexibility regarding accounts managed, with the ability to adapt to changing customer needs
  • Actively work as part of a team to create a solution-oriented culture, leading by example
