Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance our Eastern and Midlands division.

Role Location: Witham, Essex.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the Eastern and Midlands division.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing payment applications from subcontractors.
  • Drafting payment applications for clients.
  • Evaluating and comparing actual spending against the budgeted project costs through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports (CVR).
  • Preparing final financial accounts.
  • Coordinating team workloads effectively.

Candidate Profile

This Senior Quantity Surveyor position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • Significant experience in high-value construction projects at a senior level.
  • Experience with Tier 1 Main Contracting in high-value new builds.
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC and JCT Contract Conditions.
  • The capability to allocate commercial resources and mentor staff across various levels.
