Job Description

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shared Ownership New Homes Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to potential buyers on the Shared Ownership scheme, explaining eligibility, processes, and the benefits of the scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Handle all sales inquiries, guiding customers from initial interest through to property viewings, negotiations, and final sale agreements.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with prospective buyers, helping them navigate their home-buying journey.
  • Property Showcase: Conduct viewings and tours of new homes, showcasing the features and benefits of each property.
  • Lead Management: Manage a portfolio of leads, ensuring all customer records and communications are logged and up to date in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external partners, including mortgage brokers and solicitors, to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new developments to provide accurate advice to clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in property sales, new homes sales, or a similar sales-driven environment.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Shared Ownership scheme or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Results-Oriented: A results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet sales targets and work independently.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, to meet customer demands.
  • Technical Skills: Confidence in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
