As a key member of our team, the Project Delivery Manager will oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of a contract or work package, which encompasses engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities. In this capacity, you will ensure that all planning and execution align with the overarching project timeline, while adhering to safety, quality, time, and cost parameters. Reporting directly to a Senior Project Coordinator, you will direct all activities associated with the contract or work package, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion.

Your Responsibilities...

In collaboration with the Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in securing essential resources, maintaining SQEP standards, and promptly addressing any personnel shortages within your project team. You will also assist in formulating and executing strategies that align with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), ensuring effective management, organization, and execution of the program.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identifying, managing, and resolving issues within your contract or package, recognizing risks, facilitating solutions, and contributing to the development and revision of the program budget. Escalate any critical issues to the Senior Project Coordinator as necessary.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Project Coordinator to develop and maintain schedules for the contract or work package, ensuring consistency with overall project timelines. Promptly address any discrepancies.
  • Fostering a culture of lessons learned and knowledge capture as part of our daily business practices.
  • Engaging with other programs to maintain a high-level perspective on the overall project's progress, identifying and implementing best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations within your assigned contract or package, escalating concerns to the Senior Project Coordinator when needed.

Who You Are...

We seek a candidate who possesses a solid understanding of CDM Regulations and demonstrates proficient numeracy, analytical, and critical reasoning skills. Your expertise should include the application of estimating, scheduling, programming, risk management, and Earned Value Management tools.

Additionally, we value an understanding of the specific requirements of nuclear quality assurance and control, which reflects your commitment to excellence, along with:

  • Proven knowledge and understanding of leadership principles in complex projects.
  • Awareness of the needs of nuclear quality assurance and control.
  • Successful experience in engaging multi-level stakeholders within a regulated environment.
  • Experience operating within NEC and FIDIC commercial frameworks.

While a degree in engineering, construction, or a related field is advantageous, your demonstrated project management experience in engineering design, contract execution strategies, multi-discipline EPCM projects, construction activities, procurement, and management of complex contracts will be essential in this role.
