Senior Project Coordinator

As a key Project Delivery Manager, you will take charge of managing the complete lifecycle of a contract or work package, which encompasses engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities. Your role will ensure that all planning and execution are in sync with the overall project timeline, while strictly adhering to safety, quality, time, and budgetary constraints. Reporting to a Senior Project Coordinator, you will oversee all activities associated with the contract or work package, ensuring smooth execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities...
In collaboration with the Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in securing essential resources, upholding SQEP standards, and swiftly addressing any personnel shortages within your project team. Additionally, you will assist in formulating and executing strategies that align with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), ensuring effective management, organization, and implementation of the program.
Your responsibilities will also include maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders and executing project or PEP strategies within your assigned contract or work package. Specific duties include:
Proactively identifying, managing, and resolving issues within your contract or package, recognizing risks, facilitating solutions, and contributing to the development and updating of the program budget. Escalate any significant issues to the Senior Project Coordinator as necessary. Collaborate with the Senior Project Coordinator to create and maintain schedules for the contract or work package, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines. Promptly escalate any discrepancies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing as part of our daily operations. Interface with other programs to maintain a comprehensive view of the overall project's progress, identifying and implementing best practices. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations within your assigned contract or package, escalating issues to the Senior Project Coordinator when required.Ideal Candidate Profile...
We seek a candidate who possesses a solid understanding of CDM Regulations and demonstrates proficient numeracy, analytical, and critical reasoning skills. Your expertise should include the application of estimating, scheduling, programming, risk management, and Earned Value Management tools.
Additionally, an understanding of the specific requirements of nuclear quality assurance and control will highlight your commitment to excellence, along with:
Proven knowledge and understanding of leadership principles in complex project environments. Familiarity with the needs of nuclear quality assurance and control. Successful experience in engaging stakeholders at multiple levels within a regulated setting. Experience working within NEC and FIDIC commercial frameworks.While a degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline is advantageous, your demonstrated project management experience in engineering design, contract execution strategies, multi-discipline EPCM projects, construction activities, procurement, and management of complex contracts will be crucial for this role.
