Key Responsibilities...

Working closely with the Senior Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in securing essential resources, upholding SQEP standards, and swiftly addressing any personnel shortages within your project team. You will also assist in formulating and executing strategies that align with the overall Programme Execution Plan (PEP), ensuring effective management, organization, and delivery of the program.

Your duties will include maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders and implementing project or PEP strategies within your assigned contract or work package. Additionally, your responsibilities will encompass:

Proactively identifying, managing, and resolving issues within your contract or package, recognizing risks, facilitating solutions, and contributing to the development and revision of the program budget. Escalate any significant issues to the Senior Project Coordinator as needed. Collaborating with the Senior Project Coordinator to create and maintain schedules for the contract or work package, ensuring consistency with overall project timelines. Promptly escalate any discrepancies. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing as part of our daily operations. Coordinating with other programs to maintain a comprehensive view of the overall project's progress, identifying and implementing best practices. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations within your designated contract or package, escalating issues to the Senior Project Coordinator when necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile...

We seek an individual who possesses a solid understanding of CDM Regulations and demonstrates strong numeracy, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Your expertise should include the application of estimating, scheduling, programming, risk management, and Earned Value Management tools.

A comprehensive understanding of the specific requirements of nuclear quality assurance and control is essential, along with:

Proven knowledge and understanding of leadership principles in complex project environments. Insight into the needs of nuclear quality assurance and control. Successful experience in engaging stakeholders at multiple levels within a regulated setting. Familiarity with NEC and FIDIC commercial frameworks.

While a degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline is preferred, your demonstrated project management experience in engineering design, contract execution strategies, multi-discipline EPCM projects, construction activities, procurement, and management of intricate contracts will be crucial for this role.
