About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our specialist out-patient services at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, specialist physiotherapy assessments and intervention programmes for out-patients living with a neurological condition under the care of The Walton Centre.
  • Work as an integral member of the Therapy Neurology Out-Patient and Long Term Conditions Team, collaborating with colleagues and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the development of Therapy Neurology Out-Patient and Long Term Conditions Services, working closely with Consultants in Neurology, the Specialist MDT, and the Therapy Manager.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Health & Care Professions Council Registration
  • Extensive post-registration clinical experience at a senior level
  • Previous experience of assessment and treatment of Neurological and Long Term Conditions
  • Experience in staff and performance management
  • Able to plan and carry out a complex and demanding workload
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Masters level qualification or equivalent in relevant specialism
  • Delivering on key quality performance indicators
Skills and Attributes
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Able to write, implement, and audit policies
  • Effective and responsive communicator on all levels
  • High level presentation and education skills
  • Ability to provide specialist high-quality clinical intervention that is evidence-based
