About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT. As a key member of our Physiotherapy team, you will provide clinical leadership in the field of oncology, assessing and treating a caseload of low to highly complex oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in oncology, assessing and treating a caseload of low to highly complex oncology patients.
  • Support junior staff members in treating oncology patients.
  • Develop the Physiotherapy service to meet the needs of oncology patients.
  • Support the Physiotherapy Team Leader in developing the Physiotherapy service.
  • Lead in the development of our specialist services, supervision of junior staff and student education.

Requirements
  • Significant post-registration experience in clinical areas relevant to this post.
  • Relevant and recent experience in oncology.
  • Significant post-registration experience in a physiotherapy position at a senior level.
  • Evidence of leadership and service development.
  • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in supervision/mentoring of junior staff, assistants, and students.
