Location - We are seeking a motivated and skilled driver to become part of the Initial Medical team, primarily serving the South Wales region.

Uncapped commission for leads - while this is not a sales position, we recognize and reward you for sharing any sales leads with your local sales consultant.

Incremental salary growth - as a forward-thinking employer, we provide all the necessary tools and support to advance your career at Initial Medical. Through our externally accredited training program in the waste industry, your salary will increase with each successful level you complete.

ADR driving license - as part of your training, you will be enrolled in an external course for ADR "carriage of dangerous goods," fully funded by Initial Medical.

Enhanced holiday pay - as a driver, you will receive additional holiday pay based on your overtime and commission earnings. Thus, the more you earn, the greater your holiday payments will be on a quarterly basis.

Job Responsibilities:

Utilizing small transit-style vehicles for regular scheduled services, Initial Medical offers various products for the segregation, safe storage, and transportation of all healthcare and infectious waste, including bags, sharps units, dental amalgam pots, rigid containers, and wheelie bins.

Waste is collected and returned daily to our waste transfer station depots before final disposal or recovery.

Key Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license with a minimum of two years' experience and six points or fewer
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Ability to use initiative and maintain a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Good geographical driving knowledge
  • An ADR certificate (not essential as training will be provided)
