Spire Healthcare is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Healthcare Logistics Assistant to become a part of our dedicated Porting Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as a versatile member of the team, delivering high-quality support to the hospital with minimal supervision, and performing various duties including courier services, portering, cleaning, and security tasks.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong customer service skills, providing compassionate support to patients during challenging times, as our Logistics Assistants play a crucial role in the hospital environment.
- While safely escorting patients is a primary responsibility, you will also engage in a variety of essential tasks.
- Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, along with waste collection and disposal, including clinical waste.
- Ensure the movement of goods and equipment as needed, along with any additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be physically capable of handling the demands of this position.
Working Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week.
Shift Requirements: Availability to work shifts, including nights and weekends on a regular basis - 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, and 22:00 - 06:00.
