Job Overview

Moog Aircraft Group is on the lookout for a committed Logistics Coordinator to enhance our logistics team. This role is pivotal in managing all shipping operations effectively. A background in warehousing or related fields will be beneficial.

Primary Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for generating shipping documentation and commercial invoices, preparing goods for global dispatch, managing shipments through client platforms, and liaising with transport providers.

General Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations is a key aspect of this role. You will maintain a tidy workspace in line with 5S principles. Collaboration with material controllers and production teams to resolve daily challenges and accurately track stock movements is essential.

Relationship Management
Working closely with your team to exchange ideas and foster continuous improvement is crucial. A proactive, adaptable team player with a strong work ethic is highly valued. Effective communication with colleagues across departments is also necessary.

Self-Management
The ideal candidate will introduce innovative ideas and drive change, demonstrating a positive mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a high degree of integrity. Being self-aware, resilient, optimistic, and open to new ideas is essential. A collaborative approach to teamwork is vital.

Required Knowledge
A solid understanding of logistics and manufacturing processes is necessary. Proficiency in computer systems along with problem-solving and analytical skills is expected.
